hi, i'm kelly -- the founder of loveseat tapes (also known as loveseat art club for some time). i started loveseat with my buddy dan in summer 2018 primarily to be in control of our band no momentum's physical output of our music, but also out of my own longtime desire to make tapes and other physical media for good friends and talented artists alike.
dan left loveseat in the fall of that same year because he was really busy with school (i was really busy playing hooky at the same school), but he was integral to making the first handful of releases happen and so i am speaking of him glowingly here.
soon after, my friend robin would join the loveseat team. the vast majority of our catalog from 2019 - 2022 was made with her assistance, especially with regard to refining our printing process.
since 2024 i've been receiving help with coordinating and assembling releases from my pal lyn, who has officially joined loveseat as of 2025 to spearhead the next chapter for this "record label".
